The conference curator that guides you to your sessions
The amount of choice at conferences keeps growing. The ways to find sessions, posters, abstracts and colleagues have not kept up. Our solution is mapt. It maps everything at a conference – just for you.
We are award-winning media and technology innovators. We created mapt as a graphical alternative to lists. No more flipping through endless printed pages. You tell mapt what you like and who matters to you. It presents choices so you can make instant decisions.

How mapt works
Every session, poster, abstract and symposium has a title, description, and other information. We add one or more topics to each one. Then we make it a tile.
If you like the topics, presenters or format, we think you’ll like the session and we make the tile bigger. If not, we shrink the tile. At a glance, you can see the sessions you’ll like because they STAND OUT.
We make social media “likes” personal. As more of your colleagues plan to attend a session, we push the tile forward so you notice it more. We still have an icon that tells you how many people “like” it, but with the push, you know your friends are going.
We put all the tiles in one place and call it the heat map. It’s the brain of mapt. After more than 30 conferences and with four major industry awards, we know it works.

How to use mapt
Simple. Tell us what you like and who matters to you. Tell us you want everything on clinical trial. Or say you don’t want anything on epidemiology. Don’t worry; you can always change it later.
You can tell us which presenters, moderators or people you follow. If you like certain presenters, their sessions will be BIGGER. If you follow certain people, we will emphasize the sessions they plan to attend. You can add more people and change the people you follow any time.

It’s beginning to sound like social
Yes, and it should. mapt is a social platform built around your conferences.
You can plug in your favorite social networks with just one click. Do you use Twitter? Add your account. mapt will automatically follow all the people you follow on Twitter, or any social platform. Your settings with those services control what we see. We don’t use what you like on social media to choose content. We only need to see your connections to build your network.
You can see who follows you and choose who to follow. It’s all in the social page. While you’re there, check out the sessions your friends plan to attend or their connections.
Conferencing is about networking; mapt does the legwork for you.

Your agenda
Discovering your best sessions is good, but you want to attend them. We’ve got that covered.
Press the tile in the heat map to learn more about the session, including who’s going. If you like it, add it to your mapt calendar so your friends and colleagues can follow you. You can also put it into your general calendar.
The choices you make affect the heat maps of everyone who follows you. This feature guides people to sessions and abstracts that inspire you.

One mapt for all your conferences
Have you ever been to a conference and spent an hour building an in-app profile, then done the same thing at another conference? It’s a miserable experience.
We fixed it. mapt is the one app you need for a bunch of conferences. If you go to ACC, then AHA, you start where you left off. mapt learns. It’s smarter than a throw-away app and saves time.

What we are
mapt is not a conference app. It is a connected conference experience that runs in parallel. We are not affiliated with the conferences you attend. We are an over the top service that pulls information exclusively from public sources. You probably use other over the top services during conferences, like Twitter , LinkedIn, and even email. Like them, we are here to help you stay connected at conferences. And, like them, we have a robust privacy policy. We do not share your information with third parties.
